EAP COUNSELORS

Peter Y. Pontius, LCSW - Peter has been in the EAP field for over 25 years. Prior to that he taught elementary school for 4 years. He has his masters degree from Syracuse University specializing in family therapy and workplace issues. Prior to coming to Corporate care/BOCES he worked at The Health Association of Rochester's EAP as a counselor and then Director of marketing and Training. He also spent time at The Business Council of NYS where he was an EAP Specialist setting up and evaluating EAP's across New York. He has written two EAP Manuals which have been used across the country and co-written and co-produced two EAP training videos. He has also been a keynote speaker, presenter, and trainer at conferences across the country. Peter works out of the Clifton Springs, Newark, and Auburn offices.

Helen Wadsworth, Ph.D. (ABD), MSW - Helen has been in the counseling business for over 30 years and brings with her extremely valuable experience. She Has her masters and has completed all course work for her Ph.D. from Syracuse University. Helen has honed her skills through experience at the county and state level, as well as in various counseling clinics and in the college setting. She continues to teach at keuka where she was the Chairperson for the Social Work Department while working there full time. Helen works out of the Clifton Springs office.

Robert E. Dinan, LCSW-R - Bob has over 30 years experience in the counseling field. He earned his masters degree from Syracuse University. He brings with him experience in various aspects of counseling ranging from hospital social work to clinical counseling in a wide range of settings. Bob has extensive knowledge in substance abuse issues, psychiatric assessment and treatment, as well as family and individual counseling. Bob works out of the Geneva office.

Christine Bergman, MS Counseling - Christine earned her masters from SUNY Brockport. She has worked in a number of different counseling and managerial settings over the span of her 30 plus years of working in the field. She has extensive experience in all areas of counseling, including substance abuse. She has also been active in Disaster Relief through the Red Cross. Christine works out of the Penn Yan office.

Kay Loree, LCSW - Kay is the most recent addition to our staff. She earned her masters degree form Roberts Weslyan in Rochester. Her experience also spans a wide variety of issues. She works extensively with family and individual problems and has a great deal of experience in the field of substance abuse. Kay works out of the Canandaigua office.
